3D Printable Enclosure

A custom 3D printable enclosure is available for the eSpa Mini, designed to protect your PCB and provide a clean, finished look when installed in your spa pool cabinet.

There are separate enclosure files for the eSpa Mini v1 and eSpa Mini v2, as well as a shared lid that fits both versions.

Downloads

The following files are available for download. Choose the case file that matches your eSpa Mini version, and download the lid which is shared between both versions.

FileDescription
eSpa-case-mini-v1.stlCase for eSpa Mini v1 (STL)
eSpa-case-mini-v2.stlCase for eSpa Mini v2 (STL)
eSpa-lid.stlLid (fits both v1 and v2) (STL)
eSpa-case-ALL.stepComplete enclosure assembly (STEP)

TIP

STL files are ready for slicing and printing. The STEP file contains the full assembly and can be opened in CAD software if you wish to modify the design.

Printing Recommendations

  • Material: PETG or ASA recommended for heat resistance, as the enclosure will be located near your spa pool equipment. PLA may warp over time in warm environments.
  • Layer height: 0.2mm works well for a balance of speed and quality.
  • Infill: 15–20% is sufficient for structural integrity.
  • Supports: Not typically required, but check your slicer preview.

Assembly

  • Lid: 2mm bolts or screws (12–20mm length) thread tightly into the lid holes (which measure approximately 1.9mm). M2 countersunk screws at 10mm length also work well for holding the lid on.
  • PCB mounting: Use 4mm screws to secure the PCB to the standoffs inside the case.
